I’ve created a new logo for the site. It’s simple, to the point, and it speaks to the content.
It may not stay just the way it is, but I think it speaks for itself. Basically, it was just whipped up in Fireworks CS3 using the font that the title was already in.
You may notice that the image to the right of the text is indeed a real human brain. Let me give you a bit of background as to where I acquired this image.
A few years ago, I was plagued with migraines that would last for days on end. The pain was unbearable, and I went to seek medical assistance. After ruling out several factors, such as food allergies, I was sent to get a CT Scan of my brain to make sure that there wasn’t some sort of physical problem with my noggin.
Being a curious fellow, I was given a copy of the images on CD, so that I can check out what my head looks like inside from the comfort of my home. I dug out the old software that I’ve since archived on my content server at home, and flipped through to find a relevant image for the logo.
So, yep, that’s right, you’re looking at my brain. Not only can you see what’s going on in there, now you get a glimpse every time you come to the site what it actually physically looks like in there. Creepy, isn’t it?
